Donna Javine Bean

Donna Javine Jones Bean passed away on March 21, 2025, in Tulsa. She was born to Lee Roy and Lydia Jones on January 26, 1945, in Sulphur, Oklahoma. A 1963 graduate of Berryhill High School, Donna worked in the aircraft industry for many years, retiring from American Airlines. Donna (often known as Javine) lived for over 50 years in the Bixby area where she was active in the community during her sons’ school years. She was also a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

Donna’s family was the joy of her life. She loved her husband Joe dearly for their 37 years of marriage. She doted on her children and served as their biggest advocate and cheerleader. She treasured every moment with them and every memento her grandchildren and great-grandchildren made for her. She was fun to be around—she could light up every gathering with the joy of being with those she loved and her keen sense of humor. She will be deeply missed as a beloved Mom and Nana.

Donna is survived by her husband Joe, her sons Devon (Erin) Wolfe and Brian (Marilyn) Wolfe; her stepchildren, Tamra (Randy) Carlson, Laura (Ricky) Dyer, and Brian (James) Bean, 7 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 13 step-great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her son Keith Wolfe and her step-grandson Chance Leach.

Services for Donna will be held at MMS-Payne Funeral Home in Claremore on Thursday March 27, at 2pm, with visitation from 12pm until the beginning of the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore.
