Donna Lynn Bruce

Donna Lynn Bruce passed away May 25th, 2023 after a short-lived battle with her health. She peacefully passed at the home of her niece and nephew-in-law, Chelsea and Derrick Heflin, in Tulsa, Ok.

Donna was born January 8th, 1957 in Claremore, Ok to Dr. William D. Munson and Shirley Ann Munson (Houx). Beloved best friend, renowned aunt, real estate enthusiast, and bubbly of all sisters. 

Donna is survived by former spouse, Leon Bruce, and her 5 siblings;  brothers, Mike Munson (wife Glenda), and  David Houx (wife Linda), and sisters, Debbie Munson, Jo Munson, and Dini Slaton and (husband CW),  cousins, GW (Jeep) Pritchard, Bob and Marilyn Pritchard, and Gary D Pritchard, plus many more cousins, nieces, and nephews.  

Donna graduated in 1974 from Booker T. Washington. She was the life of the party.  Donna was also a red glove revue cast member, for those that may not know, that was a theater group featuring “world famous” entertainment put on by the Tulsa Cerebral Palsy Association.

Donna was a lover of all things that shined, sparkled, and colored. She was big into dressing up, and playing games with her besties “The Golden Girls” , her favorite games were Bunco, and Tripoli.  

Donna was a successful realtor and was in the multi-million Coldwell Banker club.  She once said that her favorite thing to do was drive around and look at houses on the weekends when she wasn’t working, and those that knew her knew that she was always working, and we all know that never stopped her. 

She will be missed by all that knew her. Roses are red, feathers are blue, ‘till the end Donna was true, lucky were those who were loved by you.
