Doris Ann Lamont

Doris Lamont passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 90. Memorial services to honor her life will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at the MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel.

Doris was born on November 19, 1933, in Fayetteville, AR, to Earl and Vada (Kraft) Kindy. She graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1951. Doris married Allen Lamont in Siloam Springs, and together they made Claremore their home.

She found joy in cooking and was known for her pecan pie. Doris also cherished fishing, traveling in their motorhome to Brownsville and Arizona, tending to her flowerbeds, and playing bingo. She worked as a lunch lady for Owasso Schools and was a hairdresser for many years.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Allen. She is survived by her sons, Edward Allen Lamont and wife Laraina, and Bruce Wayne Lamont; grandchildren, Bruce Allen Lamont and Justin Dale Payton; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Kole, and Karsen.
