Doyle Alan Burma

November 3, 1959 — January 8, 2023

Claremore

Doyle Alan Burma passed away on Sunday, January 8th, 2023.  He was 63 years old.  Doyle was born on November 3rd, 1959 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to George Vernon Burma and Alyce Carol Hawkey.  He was the youngest child of three.   Doyle graduated from Catoosa High School in 1978.  He sold insurance for several years as an independent agent before returning to work as a CNC machinist where he ended his career with Carlson Company.

Doyle met the love of his life, his pride and joy Cindy Moore in 1976.  The two of them started dating in March of 1979.  They knew it was meant to be and quickly got married on May 30th, 1980.  The couple started their life together in Tulsa, and later moved to Claremore which has been home since.  Together they have four kids and six grandkids.  There’s nothing in this world that meant more to him than his family and he always made that known.  He enjoyed going for drives with Cindy, spending time with his kids and grandkids, watching western and comedy movies, fishing, and making others laugh and smile.  His kids would describe him as the goofiest dad and the hardest working man they’ve ever known.  He was always there for anything they needed and will forever be known as someone that anyone could count on. To know him was to love him, he lit up every room he walked in. He was saved at a young age and always had a firm relationship with Christ.  He loved our Lord and Savior.

A loving husband, an incredible dad, a caring papa, and a dear friend; Doyle is survived by his wife Cindy Burma; his children Alana Burma, Matthew Burma, Christina Kissinger and wife AnnaBelle, and Chelsey Burma; his grandchildren Jordyn, Mattisyn, Katelyn, Ashlyn, Silas, and Ryan; his mother Alyce Burma; his sister Debbie Mullikin and husband John, his brother George Burma and wife Conni; 5 nieces, 2 nephews, and several other members of extended family.

Doyle was preceded in death by his dad George Burma; grandparents Lester Hawkey and wife Pearl, Vernon Burma and wife Reca; his mother in law Judy Moore; and his father in law Billy Moore.
