The world and many many lives were graced with the life of Duska Joy Cunningham on May 3rd, 1972. Duska was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Connie and Jan Hall. Duska graduated from Grace Fellowship Christian School in 1990.
From early on, it was evident that Duska had a genuine love for life and genuine love for people. Her gift was making everyone she came into contact with feel as if they were the most important person at that moment. Her knack for connecting with others and seeing the best in each person made her a gift from God to so many.
Duska’s greatest attribute was her heart. God placed a heart of pure gold within her to be his minister of grace to many people who just needed a friend, someone to understand.
Growing up, one of Duska's favorite ways to spend time was with her mother and dad, sister Jodi, and Brother Jeff at the family cabin along the Illinois River. Duska enjoyed floating on the river and spending quality time with family. Another one of Duska’s favorite ways to spend time was going on large family vacations, especially to Branson and Cancun, making many family memories.
Duska had a love for baking and cooking—especially baking cookies. Duska was one to never shy away from having a good time and seeing the comical side of the situation. Her laughter was obvious and infectious. Duska lived up to her name.
On 4/13/2024 at 11:10 p.m., Jesus decided he wanted Duska to be with him to bring the same joy to those in heaven she brought to so many on earth.
Duska was the loving wife to her husband, Joey Cunningham. She was the mother to Brianna and Maximus. She was also the stepmother to Chance and his wife Jodie, Angela, and Destiny, who preceded her in death a few months ago.
