Services for Elaine Budde will be 1:00pm Friday, August 28, 2015 at House of Prayer Holiness Church, her pastor, Denton Hubbard will officiate. Burial will follow at Washington Cemetery, under the direction of MMS-Payne Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, August 27 from 1pm--8pm with family receiving visitors from 6pm--8pm. Elaine passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her home with family by her side. She was 75.
Elaine Ruth Budde was born February 4, 1940 in Peabody, Kansas to Leo and Helen G. (Johnston) Reiswig. She was reared and educated in Peabody, Kansas, graduating from Peabody High School with the class of 1957. On February 17, 1957 she married Robert Dean Budde in a Peabody, Kansas ceremony. Elaine worked at 1st Kansas Life Insurance in Newton, Kansas for a time, but her most important job was making a home for her husband and children, which she dearly loved. She enjoyed making a garden each year and canned it's bounty. Elaine was a big sports fan and cheered on the OU, Dallas and New England Patriots football teams every chance she could.
Those family members that survive include her husband Robert of the home; her children Bryson L. Budde, Candy S. Cummings and husband John all of Claremore, Bruce F. Budde and wife Pam of Scott, Louisiana and Brett W. Budde and fiancee Christie Moore also of Claremore; her sister Geraldine Schuster and husband Delbert of Sour Lake, Texas; her grandchildren Lisa Walizer and husband Terry, Ashley Budde and fiancéeée Rusty Howard all of Claremore, Bryson R. Budde and wife Candy of Chelsea, Budde J. Winton and wife Elizabeth of Owasso, Lindsay D. Gatrell and husband Gavin of Talala, Ayrial Budde of Chelsea, Madison Budde and Kolby Budde both of Scott Louisiana; great grandchildren Lainee Winton, Brady Winton, Brynli Winton, Scout Walizer, Halle Bucktrot, Maci Howard, Harley Howard, Ava Gatrell, Gavin Gatrell, Gunner Gatrell, Savannah Sage Budde, Denise Marie Budde, Malachi Tyree Williams, Urriah Dee Williams and Ayriana Page Williams. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Helen Reiswig.
