Elsie Mae Jackman passed from her earthly life on January 26, 2023, at the age of 99.

The daughter of Bill and Anna (Bray) Westbrook was born in Sasakwa, Oklahoma on January 1st, 1924.  Her father worked on an oil lease and the family lived close by.  As her father moved with his job, they ended up in Konawa, Oklahoma where she graduated from high school.  Upon graduation, Elsie moved to Tulsa to attend Tulsa Business College.  It is there that she met her future husband, Bill Jackman.  However, a short time later Bill was called to serve his country during WWII.  Upon his return the two would become reacquainted and would marry.  Elsie would work her entire career as an accountant.  She worked for companies such as Humble Oil, and  Mid-America Pipeline (MAPCO) where she worked for over 20 years.  She retired in 1990.

Elsie was a member at Will Rogers United Methodist Church where she was a active member of the United Methodist Women.  She loved music and was a tremendous supporter of the choir and music minister and all those involved.  Besides her job, she loved to sew and made many clothes for her daughter and anyone else who needed or wanted something.  Cooking and baking was also a gift she had and besides her family, she made food for many funeral dinners and other activities.  Elsie loved helping others and did not like the spotlight on herself.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna, husband Bill Jackman, siblings, Anna Westbrook, Bill Westbrook and Clyde Westbrook, and son-in-law, John Moore.

Survivors include her daughter, Frances Moore; grandchildren, Joshua Nicholas Moore, and Jessica Lynn Moore; great-granddaughter, Blakely Mae Moore, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who she loved very much.
