Erma "Dee" Lea Lamb was born August 16, 1925 in Sequoyah, Oklahoma and passed away September 11, 2017 in Claremore, Oklahoma.
Dee married the love of her life, Woodrow Lamb, December 15, 1941. Together the couple raised two sons, Jimmy and Woody Lamb. They spent several years living in Alaska and would later move back to Oklahoma. Dee was a longtime charter member for 60 years at the Memorial Heights Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving Christian that would do anything for anyone in need. She was a devoted housewife and mother and she cherished her time spent with her family. Dee also enjoyed spending time crocheting, embroidery work, canning and gardening. Dee will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Dee is preceded in passing by her loving husband, Woodrow Wilson Lamb and her parents James and Nancy McClain.
Dee is survived by her son Woody Lamb and his wife, Ellen of Big Cabin, Oklahoma; son Jimmy Lamb and his wife Judy of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren, Craig Lamb, Rodger Lamb, Sonia Traver, Cheryl Groves, Carol Krause, great-grandchildren, Joshua, Michael, Creigton, Vincent, Elaina, Zeta, Karen and Ranger and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. at MMS Payne Funeral Home
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Memorial Heights Baptist Church in Claremore
