Ermagene (Jeanie) Sidney Christianson, 73, of Inola, Okla., died at home, Aug. 4, 2022, following a long and courageous battle with ocular cancer. She was born Oct. 29, 1948, in Claremore, Okla., to Rufus and Millie Gunnells.
Jeanie was a long-time resident of Rogers County where she lived and raised a family. She spent 25+ years working at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa as a surgical supplies tech, of which she was very proud. She loved her family and friends BIG and lived life to the fullest. She made new friends wherever she went. People were drawn to her outgoing, zest for life as a warrior, giver and nurturer. Her interests included growing flowers (especially roses), traveling and sports (notably, Yankees and Cubs baseball and OU football – BOOMER!).
She was preceded in death by her husband Loren, parents, brothers Billy Ray and Leroy Rowton, and sister Georgia Wiley.
Surviving Jeanie are her children Donna Prater of Inola, Charlie and Jenny Dilldine of Claremore, Dana and Kenny Graham of Inola, and Paul and Liz Dilldine of Claremore. Sisters Millie Ham and Mary Dilldine of Claremore, grandchildren Randy and Hanna Battenfield, Jason and Sarah Wilkinson, Chantz and Macy Deierlein Ashlyn and Colton Holland, Blaise Dilldine and Jaycee Adkins. Five great grandchildren, as well as countless nieces and nephews whom she treated as her own.
