Ernest George Schulze

Funeral service for Ernest George Schulze will be 11 a.m., Wed., July 3, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Adair, with his sons: Brother Tom Schulze and Pastor George Schulze officiating. Burial will follow at the Schulze Family Cemetery, Chelsea, under the direction of the Chelsea Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 1-8 p.m., and family will greet friends 5-6 p.m.

Ernest passed away Sun., June 30, 2013, at St. John Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 77.

The son of Emil Henry and Selma Louise (Radke) Schulze was born July 19, 1935. He lived his entire life in the same mile section of land. Ernest attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church school and Bushyhead schools. On Feb. 7, 1975, Ernest married Lois Joann Reale in Chelsea. He loved farming and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Ernest is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers: Albert, Gary, and Norman Schulze.

He is survived by his wife, Joann of the home; sons: Thomas Eugene Schulze and wife, Shawna of Chelsea, Ernest George Schulze, Jr. and wife, Katie of Claremore, and Patrick Leroy Schulze of Tulsa; brothers, Theodore Schulze and wife, Francis of Chelsea, Clarence Schulze of McPherson, KS, Edwin Schulze of Chelsea, Margaret Sutton of Claremore, Pearl Harper of Claremore, Bernice Walker and husband, Johnny of Chelsea, and Lillian Schulze of Joplin, MO; and grandchildren: Samantha Schulze, Jessica Schulze, Tommy Schulze, Hannah Schulze, Eli Schulze, Rachel Schulze, Dylan Schulze, and Grant Schulze.
