Everett Breshears was born to Robert and Ruby (Dye) Breshears in Big Cabin, OK on June 7, 1948. His early childhood was spent roaming the hills in the Big Cabin and Chelsea area. He would attend Big Cabin school until moving to Wichita, KS during his junior year. After finishing school, Everett worked a few jobs before starting a career with Boeing. He would work there for 37 years until his retirement.
Throughout his life Everett was always a hard worker and was often referred to as a "workaholic." However, he did make time to attend the local Pentecostal Church, and enjoyed watching westerns on TV. In 2018 Everett decided to move to the Chelsea area to be near his sister. Over the past few years, they enjoyed sitting on the porch as a family, enjoying each other's company.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ruby Breshears; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include his sister, Roberta DeVore; brother, Richard Breshears and wife Betty of Wichita, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
