Funeral service for Everett Lee Yoder will be 9:00a.m., Monday, May 6, 2024 at the home place, 12205 South 425 Road, Inola, Oklahoma 74036. His final resting place will be at Parkside Cemetery, Inola, Oklahoma.
Everett Lee Yoder , 78 years, 11 months, and 6 days, of Inola passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born May 30, 1945 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the son of Noah and Sarah Yoder. Everett married Barbara Detweiler on September 19, 1968 in Inola. Together they have spent 55 years of marriage. He spent his time farming and ranching. Everett enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Everett is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; his children, Gary and Ruth Yoder, of Inola, Steve and Barbara Yoder of Chouteau, Everett Wayne "Bub" and Carolyn Yoder of Chouteau, Dinah and Marvin Miller of Chouteau, Salina and Wayne Yoder of Inola, Jason and Malinda Yoder, of Inola, Cynthia and Jay Hochstetler of Inola, and Earl and Marla Yoder of Inola; 32 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, his brothers Albert and Mary Ellen Yoder of Kalona, IA, Ray and Mary Alice Yoder of Topeka, IN, Mervin and Fannie Yoder of Chouteau, OK, Lavern and Marilyn Yoder of Haven, KS, Wayne and LeAnne Yoder of Howe, IN, Glen and Wilma Yoder of Chouteau, OK, sisters Clara and Jay Yoder of Campbell Hill, IL, and Verba Yoder of Campbell Hill, IL, his in-laws Robert and Susan Detweiler, Sara Detweiler, Laverda Miller, Jake and Ruth Detweiler, Martha Chupp, Ina Detweiler, Salina Detweiler, Mary and Levi Miller, Will and Ida Detweiler, Edna and Clarence Miller, and special friends Pete Crane, Jerry Donahue, Ken Froese, and many other friends.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Sarah (Mullet) Yoder, twin grandsons, Kevin Earl Yoder and Keith Merle Yoder, father and mother-in-law Bill and Cassie (Troyer) Detweiler, 6 brothers-in-law and 1 sister-in-law.
