A memorial gathering for Francis Leopold Kizlinski will be held beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon June 26, 2010 at his home in Inola, Ok. After a 27th month fight, he lost his battle with brain cancer on Sunday, June 20th, 2010.
Frank was born to Alexander J. and Laura (Barglowski) Kizlinski on May 1, 1946 in New Brunswick, NJ. He grew up and lived in South River, NJ until serving in the United States Air Force. He worked for Union Carbide and Armin Plastics before relocating to Broken Arrow, Ok. After working for Rockwell and McDonnell-Douglas, he then worked for The Home Depot in the Tulsa area.
Frank is preceded in death by both his father and mother.
He is survived by his wife Darlene, his children by a previous marriage to Patricia Pasternak are son Michael and wife Stacey of Tulsa, son Jason from Midlothian, TX, daughter Rebecca Sisk and husband Wes from Durham, NC, daughter Stephanie and husband Jay Grabeal of Owasso and step-son Steven and wife Michelle from Edwardsville, IL. He was fortunate to have grandchildren Nicole, Sheldyn, Trae, Sierra, Taylor, Trevor, Joseph and shortly after his passing, Matthew arrived. In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by his sister Dorothy and husband Donald Hefner, brother Alexander S. and wife Ella all of South River, NJ along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank was an extremely giving, loving and fun person, he will truly be missed forever by so many of us.
