Franklin D. Wilborn Sr.

Funeral service for Franklin Wilborn, Sr. will be 10 a.m., Fri., Aug. 7, at River of Life Assembly of God, Inola, with his son, Pastor Rodney Wilborn, officiating. Graveside service with military honors by the U.S. Army will follow at 2 p.m. at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Inola Funeral Home & Crematory.

Franklin Delona Wilborn Sr. age 78, passed away Saturday afternoon at Saint John’s hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma. Frank was born on December 6, 1936 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma to Samuel Harrison and Lou Ella (Beasley) Wilborn. Frank worked for the Garnett corp. for 25 years before retiring. He liked to drive his tractor and do brush hogging. He loved his family and enjoyed pestering every one of them.

He is survived by his sister Ethel Fay (Wilborn) Blair, 2 sons Franklin Delona Wilborn of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Rodney Paul Wilborn of Tulsa Oklahoma, 1 daughter Joni Frances Pinkley of Tulsa Oklahoma, 5 grandchildren, Steven Ravon Wilborn, Chelsea Donae Wilborn, Daniel Camron James, Rhechel Colleen Wilborn, and Benjamin Delona Wilborn, and 1 Great grandchild Jazlyn Luanne Echols.
