Fred Brewer

A celebration of the life of Fred Brewer will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 11 am at St. Andrews Methodist Church in Claremore. His wonderful life began on October 31, 1934 to parents John and Goldie Brewer in Joplin, Missouri. Fred married Donna Wittenmyer on April 23, 1955 . He retired from the Army Corp of Engineers in 1984 after 23 years of service and dedication, and went on to work as an inspector for the City of Tulsa, retiring in 1995 after 11 years of service. Fred left this earth surrounded by loved ones on October 1, 2013 at the age of 78. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Donna, three children, Kim Long and her husband Larry of Claremore, Tammy Tomlinson of Claremore, and Kevin Brewer and wife Tina of Broken Arrow. Fred was known as “Papa” to his surviving grandchildren, Kyle Cooper and wife Brandy, Kami Walton, Tiffany Brewer, Kory Walton, and great grandchildren, Shea Walton, Olivia Cooper, Addisen Strawn, and David Strawn III. Our family is forever grateful for the love he shared and the time he spent with us.
