Gary Wayne Craig passed away on June 23rd, 2022 he was 68 years old. Gary was born to J.B Craig and Lena Mae Craig on December 29th, 1953 in Earlimart, California.
Growing up Gary attended high school in California then later in Arkansas. After his high school years he felt the call to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Army. He was very proud of his time in the military. He was always wearing one of his many 8th Infantry hats.
He met the love of his life Gloria on a blind date then three months later married and created a life together. The two moved to Inola in 1999 and made a home there.
Some of Gary's hobbies that he dearly loved included billiards, poker playing, cooking, and eating. He made some of the best smoked meat and his famous homemade barbecue sauce. He loved old vintage cars and had a 1955 Ford truck restored. He loved to watch old Westerns, Gunsmoke and Bonanza were favorites. Gary had always loved baseball and was a huge Baltimore Orioles fan. He loved collecting memorabilia relating to his hobbies and sports. Gary also enjoyed and listened to old country music.
He is preceded in death by his father J.B. Craig.
Gary is survived by his wife Gloria Craig; Mother Lena Mae Evans, Son Christopher Wayne Craig and partner Rose; Daughter Kanishia Francis and husband Paul; Brothers, William Reeves II and wife Patty, John Wayne Craig and wife Gina; Sisters Linda Uptigrove, Carolyn Craig and Judy Craig; Grandchildren, Jack Arron Craig and Paul "Tripp" Francis III.
