Gary Wayne Hundley

Gary Wayne Hundley, 63, passed away on February 10, 2025. He was born on October 11, 1961, in Claremore, OK, to William and Bertha Hundley.

Gary grew up attending Foyil and Sequoyah Public Schools, where he enjoyed playing basketball. He later attended Vo-Tech for welding and small engine repair and worked in construction with his father. He eventually became an exterminator, which led him to meet the love of his life, Darilen McSpadden, in a laundromat—where he went in for a Coke and walked out with his future wife. They married on October 3, 1984, and shared 41 wonderful years together.

Later in life, Gary worked for Daylight Donuts, always bringing home extra treats for his family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing video games, and joking around—whether it was aggravating squirrels or pulling pranks on his loved ones. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, William Hundley, and grandparents, Bill and Ruth Hundley. He is survived by his wife, Darilen Hundley; children, Billy Hundley and wife Emily, Beth Monett and husband Brad, 

 Tabitha Plummer and husband Jeremy and Destiny Bittle and husband Martin; Mother; Bertha Dickens; siblings, Johnny Hundley, Randy Hundley and wife Verna, and Dennis Hundley and wife Jessica; and 10 beloved grandchildren.

Gary will be remembered for his humor, kindness, and love for his family. Gary will be missed by all.
