Gary Casto Knight

Services for Gary Casto Knight will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Sequoyah Baptist Church (Sequoyah) 16451 OK-66, Claremore, OK 74017. Gary passed away unexpectedly at his home in Owasso on Monday, November 29, 2021. He was 63 years old.
Gary was born on December 20, 1957 in Bartlesville, OK to Coleman Knight and Laddie Moore-Knight. Gary moved to Claremore with his family in 1962. He attended and graduated from Claremore High School in 1976. After High School Gary pursued higher education at Claremore Junior College.
A devoted spouse, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. Gary started working early on at Standard Blasting Company. He then started helping his father at his business Knight Paper Company. He worked as a truck driver and later took over the business after his father passed. He then moved on to Dykon and later continued with his CDL and became a driver for SafWay Steele and Scaffolding where he recently passed his 20-year anniversary and then retired. Gary was a hard worker but also very much enjoyed his down time with friends by playing dominoes, pool, going to the casino, and mostly hanging out in his chair watching the sports teams and old TV reruns. His favorite thing to do was to just hang out with his kids, take his grandkids fishing, and spend time with Gail and their dogs. Gary also attended Memorial Baptist Church in Claremore, Ok on occasion.
Gary shared the last 8 years of his life with Gail Mount, in Owasso, OK where they lived. They loved having all their children and grandchildren over for gatherings on holidays or just for an afternoon to swim in the pool. He had his first child with Karla Knight followed by his four younger children with Angela Knight.
Gary is survived by his loving partner, Gail Mount of Owasso, OK; mother, Laddie Boley, and her husband Warren of Bella Vista, AR; brother, Troy Knight, of Claremore, OK; sister, Jana Knight-Murdaugh, of Tulsa, OK; son, Zachary Knight, of Claremore, OK; son, Aaron Knight, of Inola, OK; son Darron Knight and wife Kendra of Claremore, OK; daughter Stephani Knight and husband DJ of Inola, OK; son, Stephen (Tyler) Knight, of Inola, OK; stepson, Lonnie Battenfield, of Claremore, OK; stepdaughter, Amy Bobo, and husband Brad, stepson, Aaron Mount, and stepson, Sean Mount, of Owasso, OK; and grandchildren Maggie Knight of Catoosa, OK, Cade Knight of Inola, OK, Ke’dyn and Bently Loftis of Inola, OK, Haylie Battenfield of Claremore, OK, and Ryann and Bryce Bobo of Owasso, OK. He is preceded in death by his father, Coleman Knight and sister Dawn Anne Knight.
