Graveside service for lifelong Inola area resident, Gary Allen Rosbrugh, will be 10:00 am Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Highland Cemetery in Inola. Visitation will be at Inola Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, August 23, from 4:30-7 pm. Gary passed away in Tulsa on Sunday, August 18, 2019. He was 66 years old.
The son of Willie Arthur Rosbrugh and Eunice Bernice (Cummins) Rosbrugh was born in Tulsa on October 6, 1952. His strong ties to the Inola community began very early. He started first grade at Gregory Grade School, the same school that his mother had attended years ago. When his parents bought their farm, he and his brother Ted moved to the Tiawah school system. Gary graduated from Inola High School and also attended Tulsa Community College.
He developed a strong ability in math and science. His career at TCC was dented by a fire that he started in the chemistry lab during an experiment.
Later, Ted and Gary started a plumbing company, which served the Rogers County area. Their dad would join in sometimes. The company was closed due to health problems for both brothers.
Gary was preceded in death by his brother Ted, his parents, Willie and Eunice Rosbrugh, and his grandparents, Bertie and Bertha Cummins of Inola, and William H. and Alma (Moody) Rosbrugh of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his sisters Donna Rosbrugh and Beverly Stanley, and nephews Bryan McCracken and family, and Bill McCracken and family, plus an extended family of cousins.
