Gina R. Sheffield

Visitation for Gina Renee Sheffield will be Mon., Aug. 30, 1-5 p.m., and Tues. 9 a.m.-noon at Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Family will greet friends 3-5 p.m.

Gina died Thurs., Aug. 26, 2010, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 51.

The daughter of Billy Jack and Mavis Katherine (Strom) Johnson was born Oct. 21, 1958, in Killeen, TX. As a child, Gina lived in numerous places due to her father's Air Force career. On March 31, 1990, Gina married Michael Dean Sheffield in Siloam Springs, AR. They made their home in Westville, OK, and later Grand Lake. Gina worked as a realtor and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, bulldogs, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Gina is preceded in death by her mother, Mavis K. Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Michael of the home; daughter, Amber A. Barnett of Siloam Springs, AR; sons: Eric Thomason of Afton, and Patrick E. Sheffield of Claremore; father, Bill J. Johnson of Claremore; brother, Craig L. Johnson and wife, Shirlene of Claremore; sister, Dawn E. Childress of Claremore; niece, Rachel Childress of Claremore; granddaughters: Sharlotte Alleese, Morgan Kaye, Mikela Nichole, and Sierra Danielle all of Siloam Springs, AR, and Hailee Reene of Afton; and grandsons, Hunter Dean and Zane Adam both of Siloam Springs, and Colton Wayne of Afton.
