Glen Ray Slaughter

Glen Ray Slaughter was born in Chattanooga, Oklahoma on June 10, 1941 to Charlie Merrell and Ruth Lavonne (Ramsey) Slaughter. Glen was an Oklahoma Highway Patrolman for 26 years retiring in 1992 as 2nd Lieutenant. He and Billie Jean (Reed) Slaughter were married in 1980 and have made Claremore their home since.
Glen passed away on May 26, 2014 at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife Billie of their home; his daughters Glenda Watrous and Michelle Bybee; his grandchildren Sam Cottom, Candy O’Dell, Myranda Cole and Brady Troutt and five great grandchildren; his siblings Mary Alice Rowland and Bobby Slaughter. Glen was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lois Miller and two brothers Buddy Slaughter and Boyd Slaughter.
