Memorial service for Glen Eldon Sneath will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, April 14, 2023, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel in Claremore, Oklahoma.  Rev. Andy Nichols will officiate.  Eldon will be laid to rest at Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas, at a later date.

Glen Eldon Sneath left this world on Friday, March 31, 2023, at the age of 87.  He was born on July 21, 1935 to Glen Wilber and Margert Susan Sneath at their home in Mertilla Township, Northwest Meade County, Kansas.

Eldon attended school in Meade, Kansas, graduating in 1953.  On October 18, 1958 he married Annette Marie Dobrinski in Scott City, Kansas.  They made their home in Meade for a year, then moved to Liberal, Kansas.  In 1960 they moved to Scott City, Kansas where he worked for Calvin Hutchins , farming and feeding cattle.  In 1971 Eldon started a business called Double T Hauling, which he operated for two years.  In 1973 he went to work for Brookover Feedlot as assistant manager.  In 1977 Eldon and his wife opened a gift and garden center called Pick A' The Patch. In 1985 they relocated to Pryor, Oklahoma and opened a video rental business called Popingo Video.  They moved to Claremore in 1995 and opened a restaurant called Okie Steakhouse, which was open from 1995 to 2005.

Survivors include his daughter Melissa Lorg and husband Joe of Claremore and daughter-in-law Paula Sneath of Scott City, Kansas.  6 grandchildren; Christopher, Nicola, Todd, Ian, Amanda, and Amber.  14 great-grandchildren; Jarron, Bryton, Brayden, Micala, Julie, Easton, Annice, Chase, Finnley, Riley, Paxton, Adaline, Ronnie, Jr., and Gavin; and sister June Reinert of Lakin, Kansas.  Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sons Bruce and Rick, and brother Lloyd Sneath, and sister Wanda Hutchinson.
