Gloria Deanda

Services for Gloria Deanda will be 10:00a.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel, Charlie Kellehan will officiate. Gloria passed away at her home on Sunday, April 24, 2016 with her family by her side. She was 73.

Born January 9, 1943 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Arlis Coleman and Violet Valerie (Butler) Chambers, Gloria was reared and educated in her birth community, graduating from Claremore High School. On September 30, 1961 she married Joe Louis Deanda in a Claremore wedding ceremony. The couple made their home in several places including Junction, Texas, Illinois, Ohio and Claremore.

Gloria was a devoted wife and mother and she enjoyed taking care of her family. As they grew, she was there in every step of the way helping them along. Gloria coached the girl's softball teams for many years and loved teaching them about team work. When grandchildren came along, she was right there being the doting grandmother. They loved playing Nintendo with her. Gloria generously gave to her extended family and to her many friends as well. You could always count on her when you had a need.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Violet "Butch" and Arlis Chambers, brothers Arlis Chambers, Jr., Richard Chambers and Robert Lomax

Family members that survive include her husband Joe Deanda of their home in Claremore; her daughters Angie Dowler, Vicky Carriger and husband Mike, Trisha Lomax and husband Bob; sons Joey Deanda, Jr., Jeremy Deanda and wife Sandy; her grandchildren Brittney Carriger, Sidney Cutruzzula and husband Jesse, Ciarra Roe and husband Jake, Jerad Dowler, Courtney Dowler, Lindsay Wall, Jared Wall, Lindsay Lomax, Jake Lomax, Nick Lomax, Trent Carriger, Walker Martz and Joey Deanda, III; great grandchildren Zoey Roe, Emma Stokes, Haley Stokes, Reid Dowler, Makayla Wall and Hannah Wall.
