Gloria Lee Epperson

Funeral service for Gloria Lee Epperson will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Lone Elm Cemetery.

Gloria passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the age of71.

The daughter of Frank Dyson and Mary Lee (Tipton) Epperson, Gloria was reared and educated in her birth community. Being a loving and caring person made the career of a nurse a natural choice for Gloria. She worked at Muskogee General Hospital before retiring in 1979. Her family was the recipients of her loving nature as well as her church, Boston Avenue Baptist in Muskogee. Gloria loved to antique shop and was always ready to find a bargain at a garage sale. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Those who survive include her children Terry Wayne Epperson, Cathy Sue Lester-Shelby, Brian Lynn Byrd; her grandchildren Tonya, Sammie Jo, Cassie Olivia, Justin Wayne, Brandon Garrett, Jordan Dyson, Cody Jack, Hanna Nichole, Brynna Rose, Korbyn Paisley, Alexander Zylo and Erik Eugene; her great grandchildren Rusty, Socks, Flloyd and Zouie and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family members.
