Gloria Richardson

Funeral service for Gloria Lee Richardson will be 1 p.m., Mon., July 14, at Inola Christian Church with Elder Paul Bemies officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park under the direction of the Inola Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sun. 1-6 p.m.

Gloria passed away Thurs., July 10, 2014, at her son's home at the age of 74.

The daughter of William Ernest and Icel (Madden) Brewer was born May 21, 1940, in Russellville, AR. Gloria attended school in Rover, AR, and was also baptized there on Aug. 16, 1953. On July 2, 1965, she married James Ray Richardson in Tulsa. Gloria worked as a building engineer for Tulsa Public Schools for many years, and then went to work for American Airlines in the Fleet Service. She retired in 2005. Gloria enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, camping, fishing, and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of Inola Christian Church. Gloria loved all people and Jesus above all.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and nephew, Michael Brewer.

Survivors include her husband, James of the home; children: Sheila Kay Richardson of Tulsa, Robert David Richardson of Inola, and Loretta Richardson; grandchildren: Kahyla Dawn Richardson of Tulsa, Michael Caleb Richardson of Inola, Shelby Morgan Morrow of Inola, Patricia Maxine Richardson of Tulsa, Taylor Marie Richardson of Inola, Tiffany Ranae Richardson of Inola; great-grandchild, Lukas Zaden Richardson; brothers: Clem Brewer of White Oak, TX, and William Sammy Brewer of Bentonville, AR; and honorary sister, Doris Davis of Tulsa.
