The daughter of George "Gus" E. and Victoria Rebecca(Jordan) Bradshaw was born January 24, 1921 in Rogers County. She was raised in the Claremore area and attended Oowala school.

On June 7, 1941, she married Junus C. Bentley. Gussie was a wonderful Mother, a homemaker, helped her husband on the farm and later managed the family owned construction company.

Her passion for God was evident by her desire to teach others about Christ. She taught Sunday School from the age of 15 to age 90. She was a member of Sageeyah Baptist Church. Her example taught us to live a life for Christ, to love others deeply, always be forgiving and to enjoy family to the fullest.

Gussie enjoyed flowers, gardening, quilting; crocheting, reading and watching her many grandchildren grow up.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Junus in 2002; her son, Bobby; her parents; a brother, Andy; three sisters: Junie, Sadie, Minnie; and her son-in-law, Ira Green.

Gussie is survived by her children: Jerry W. Bentley and wife, Debbie of Claremore, Jeanne I. Gramman and husband, Mike of Wesley Chapel, FL, Joanne B. Green of Claremore, Patricia A. Halfhill and husband, Don of Claremore, and Melissa J. Owens and husband, Scott of Newcastle; 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Russell Bradshaw and wife, Dorothy of Claremore, and Joe Bradshaw and wife, Nancy of Ada; and sisters: Hazel Mallory and Betty Ellison both of Claremore.
