Harold Michael “Mike” Jackson, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, leaving behind a life rich with adventure, generosity, and love. Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army before dedicating his career to the United States Postal Service.
For over 50 years, he shared an unbreakable bond with his beloved wife, Patricia Jackson, building a life centered around family and laughter. Mike had a passion for excitement, from racing demolition derby cars in his younger years to exploring new places through his love of travel. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hunting and fishing and never missed a chance to cheer on Oklahoma girls softball.
A skilled craftsman, Mike spent countless hours making knives, a talent he honed with care and dedication. His green thumb was just as impressive—his garden flourished year after year, and he took great pride in sharing its bounty with family and friends. His kindness, generosity, and adventurous spirit left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Mike will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the stories told, the gardens planted, and the lives he touched with his kindness.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held Friday April 11, 2025, 2:00pm at New Life Baptist Church in Claremore, Oklahoma. In honor of his legacy and in lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to enjoy the great outdoors, plant a garden, share a homegrown meal, or simply spread kindness—just as he always did.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Jackson of Claremore; his daughter, Stacey and her husband Dr. Terry Willis of Claremore; his son, Michael and his wife Kimberly Jackson of Claremore. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Alec Jackson of Claremore; Marshall Jackson and his wife Tara of Roseville, California; Emma Warren of Claremore; and Ethan Warren of Claremore. He leaves behind his sisters, Jenny Haff of Pryor and Debbie Neasby of Bixby; his sister-in-law, Connie Burton of Texas; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Harold E. and Dee Jackson and his son, Harold M. Jackson, II.
