Hazel Margie Mallory

Funeral services for Hazel Margie Mallory will be held on Friday, August 16, at 10:00 am at Foyil Baptist Church. Visitation will take place at Foyil Baptist Church from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm on the evening prior. Hazel passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the age of 98, surrounded by her loving family.

Hazel was born in Oowala, Oklahoma, to George and Victoria (Jordon) Bradshaw. She grew up in Oowala and attended school there. While a member of the Oowala Community Church, Hazel met the love of her life, Wayne Mallory, at the age of 14. The couple dated for four years before marrying on April 1, 1944, beginning a long and happy life together as lifelong residents of Rogers County.

Known for her calm demeanor and gracious spirit, Hazel was a woman who never complained and was admired by all who knew her. Hazel was know for her biscuits and peach cobblers. Hazel was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, George and Victoria (Jordon) Bradshaw; her beloved husband, Wayne Mallory; her sisters, Juna Mallory, Minnie Melton, Gussie Bentley, Sadie Eschbach, and Betty Ellison; her brothers, Andy Bradshaw, Joe Bradshaw, and Russell Bradshaw; her grandson, Tony Mallory; and her sons-in-law, Bill Rader and Sheldon Clark.

She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Mallory and wife Wilma, Charles Mallory and wife Tonie, Larry Mallory and wife Donna, and Lee Mallory and wife Pam; her daughters, Rebecca Ward and husband Patrick, Thressa Rader, Carol Maddoux and husband Robin, Tammie Clark, and Jill Butler and husband Chris; as well as a large, loving family that includes 54 grandchildren and spouses, 80 great-grandchildren and spouses, 8 great-great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
