Helen Milone

Service for Helen Milone will be 10:00a.m., Thursday, August 3, 2023 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband Salvatore.  Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 2 from 1pm-7pm.  Helen passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023.  She was 92.

Born on March 20, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York, to Stanley and Helen (Kalmickczak) Jadaszewski, Helen attended St. Stanislaus Catholic School before continuing her studies at Borum Design in New York. Furthermore, she expanded her skill set through various computer courses during her pursuit of knowledge.
Helen began work at a book company, she eventually found her professional niche at American Airlines. With unwavering commitment and an eye for detail, Helen served as an agency auditor for 34 years until her well-deserved retirement in 1993.

While Helen's professional achievements were noteworthy indeed, it was her marriage to Salvatore that truly defined her existence. Their union was a testament to the transformative power of love. Helen and Salvatore balanced each other beautifully and shared an unbreakable bond that lasted throughout their time together.

Traveling held a special place in Helen's heart, and she was fortunate enough to explore numerous countries during her tenure with American Airlines. Her insatiable curiosity led her to immerse herself in new cultures and forge connections with people worldwide.

Those family members that survive include her son Frank Milone and Jay Fleming of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her grandchildren Michael Milone, Luis Fleming Milone, and Katherine Fleming Milone; Helen's nieces Dorothy Pascal and Helen Linnick of New York, along with numerous other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  Helen was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Helen (Kalmickczak) Jadaszewski and her beloved husband Salvatore Milone.
