Ira Roger Nichols

It is with great sadness and tears we share the passing of Ira Roger Nichols on April 28, 2023 at 5:29 p.m. This date and time will be forever embedded in the hearts of all who loved him. 

Roger was born on October 18, 1958 in Upland, California to Maxine and vernon Nichols. He was the youngest of four children. 

Roger fought an heroic battle against cancer with a sweet spirit and few complaints. He remained hopeful and prayed. The battle ended at St. Johns hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by loved ones and the most amazing nurses. 

He is proceeded in death by parents and sister, Mary Ellen Shanks. 

Roger is survived by his wife Carolyn of 26 years; daughter Rae Difer and husband Rex six grandchildren; Stepdaughter Gina and Stepson Earnest and wife Melisa, eight step grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother Danny and wife Alieta Nichols; sister Loretta and husband Mike along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
