Memorial service for James L. Butler will be 2 p.m., Sat., Aug. 9, at United Pentecostal Church of Pryor.
James passed away at his home on Sun., Aug. 3, 2014, at the age of 74.
The son of Crawford Lee and Ollie (Eagle) Butler was born on Feb. 11, 1940, in Tahlequah. He served in the U.S. Army, and retired from Solar Manufacturing in Pryor. James has lived in the Pryor for the past 48 years, and was a member of the Romeo Club.
James is survived by his wife, Kathryn Sue "Kathy" (Rathfon) Butler of the home; son, James Crawford Butler of Pryor; daughter, Jamie Lynne Butler of Claremore; sisters: Norma Jean Butler of Rowland, Francis Merrill of Muldrow, and Georgia Butler of Arizona; 2 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
