James Warren Kerr passed away on May 11th, 2020, at the age of 52. He was
 
 born to loving parents; Shelby Lynn and Marilyn Ann on September 9, 1967 in Tulsa
 
 Oklahoma.
 
 James grew up in Tulsa and attended East Central High School where he graduated in
 
 1986. James worked at Zephyr, Cherokee Architectural Metals and Osiyo Metals as an
 
 Ironworker for most of his life. He was very proud of being an ironworker and was very
 
 skilled at his work. James enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved being at the lake
 
 or on the river fishing with family and friends. James enjoyed watching NASCAR and
 
 his favorites were Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He also spent many years
 
 four wheeling and camping at Little Sahara State park. His greatest pride are his two
 
 nephews, Sammy and Chris. He loved and spoiled them. He never met a stranger and
 
 was always making wisecracks and jokes. He put a smile on everyone's face.
 
 He is preceded in death by his father Shelby Lynn Kerr; Brother John Robert Kerr; and
 
 long time girlfriend Joanna Ennis.
 
 James is survived by his Mother Marilyn Ann Kirk of Claremore; Sister Carolyn Hayes
 
 and husband Joseph of Claremore; Nephews Samuel and Christopher
 
 Hayes; along with many other family and friends. He is greatly loved and will be missed.
