Jamie Wilkinson

Funeral service for Jamie Michelle Wilkinson will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at the Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Winganon Cemetery under the direction of the MMS-Payne Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, January 31 from 1pm--6pm, family will receive visitors from 2pm--4pm.

Jamie went home to be with the Lord on January 28, 2016 at the age of 38.

The daughter of Tony Gay and Rhonda Sloan Spencer was born August 30, 1977 in Tulsa. Most of her childhood was spent living in or near the Tulsa area. Until her she and her family moved to Claremore in 1990. Jamie attended Sequoyah High School graduating with the class of 1996.

Jamie was always a girl with a strong work ethic. It was while working at a local video store that she first met Steve Wilkinson. After a few years of dating and Steve finishing college, the wedding date was set. They would marry on June 30, 2001 in Claremore. They made their home in Bushyhead and began their lives together. Over the next few years, Jamie would stay home and take care of their two children. After the children entered school, Jamie began studying to be an Optician. She then began working in Claremore where she most recently worked for Dr.'s Larry and Judy Riley.

In her spare time Jamie had many hobbies. Such as reading, photography, going to the movies, and especially going to art museums. However her true love was her family and the Lord.

Survivors include her husband Steve, and children Kathryn Grace Wilkinson and Matthew Jacob Wilkinson all of the home; mother, Rhonda Spencer of Claremore; father, Tony Gay of Catoosa; brother, Michael Spencer of Stillwater; sisters, Toni Koman, and Jordon Scott both of Claremore and niece and nephew, Charli and Caleb Koman.
