Jane Loveless

  Jane Loveless, a beloved member of the community and a retired employee of BCBS of Kansas, has passed away at the age of 85. Jane, known for her great sense of humor and vibrant personality, will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

  Born on January 6, 1938, in Scott City, Kansas, Jane grew up in a loving family. She was the daughter of Paul and Lela [Wardlow} Loveless and had six siblings: Ona Glee,  Pauline, Virginia, Jack, Jim (her twin brother), and Clyde (affectionately known as Bud). Growing up in a close-knit family helped shape Jane's warm and caring nature.

  Jane's educational journey was focused on acquiring knowledge and skills that would shape her professional life. She graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka, KS in 1956. Continuing her pursuit of knowledge, she attended Kansas University where she honed her academic abilities. Being a huge fan of the Jayhawks team was a testament to her passionate spirit.
 
  Throughout her career at BCBS of Kansas, Jane made significant contributions to the field and built lasting relationships with colleagues. Her years of dedicated service were characterized by professionalism and a strong work ethic.

  In addition to her career achievements, Jane was actively involved in various social organizations. She was a longtime member of the Delta Theta Chi sorority which allowed her to connect with others who shared similar values and experiences.

  Outside of work, Jane had an array of hobbies and interests that brought joy into her life. She loved shopping and watching sports on TV. One could often find her cheering fervently for the Jayhawks, Royals, & Chiefs. Amongst her favorite places to eat was Chick-Fil-A where she relished their delicious offerings. A highlight for Jane was playing chicken foot (dominoes) with her family – those moments created cherished memories that will be cherished by all who participated.

  Jane Loveless leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness to be carried on by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many grand nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever hold her dear in their hearts.

  As we reflect on Jane's life, let us remember her vibrant spirit, her unwavering sense of humor, and her dedication to both her work and her loved ones. She will be remembered as a pillar of strength, a kind soul, and a source of laughter that brightened the lives of those around her.

  A private service will be held at a later date.

  In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jane's memory to: Highland Park United Methodist Church of Topeka, Kansas or the Alzheimer's Association.

  Jane Loveless' presence illuminated the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her. Her memory will forever live on as a beacon of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness.
