Janice JoAnn Woods

Janice JoAnn Woods went home to be with her Lord on September 13, 2020,  at the age of 78 after a short battle with cancer. JoAnn was born in Tulsa, OK to Howard Robbins and Sally Thompson on January 11, 1942. She attended Tulsa, Foyil, and Sequoyah public schools. After high school, she went on to Bacone College, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She worked as an LPN at Claremore Hospital, and later as a Registered Nurse at Tulsa Regional Hospital, eventually retiring from there. JoAnn loved caring for her family and anyone in need.
JoAnn had many joys in life. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, painting, canning, and crafting. She also loved fishing, camping and Bluegrass Festivals. JoAnn had a giving heart, sharing her lovingly hand-crafted gifts and cards. She loved vacationing in Tampa, Florida.

JoAnn is survived by her brothers and sisters; her children Sherry Woods Nalsen and husband Thor, Russell Woods and wife Suzie, Keith Woods and wife Sharry, Glenn Woods and wife Valerie; as well as 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and countless friends.
