Funeral service for Jason Alan Orf will be 10 a.m., Mon., July 19, at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Ray Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sun. 1-6 p.m., and family will greet friends 5 to 6 p.m.

Jason died Thurs., July 15, 2010, at his home at the age of 33.

The son of Bruce Alan Orf and Cynthia May (Alexander) McKenzie was born Dec. 5, 1976, in Tulsa. Jason attended elementary school in Tulsa and continued his schooling in Catoosa. He graduated from Catoosa High School in 1995. He graduated from the University of Tulsa in 2002 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. While in school, Jason went to work with Unit Corp. After graduation he went to work for B.P. Oil Co. in Houston. In 2004 Jason moved back to Claremore and went to work again with Unit Corp as a petroleum engineer. At a Christmas party, Jason met Lesly Guillams. They were married on June 29, 2003, in Destin, FL. Jason was a member of First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed traveling with his family, playing soccer, coaching his children, and fishing. He was an avid hunter, and was famous for hosting Halloween parties at his home.

Jason is preceded in death by his grandmother, Clara Ruth Zimmerman.

He is survived by his wife, Lesly of the home; children: Zander and Lundyn of the home; mother and step-father, Cynthia and Jerry McKenzie; father and step-mother, Bruce and Brenda Orf; siblings: Justin Orf and wife, Ashley, Braena Orf and husband, Alex, and Brandon Orf; step-siblings: Brent Erickson and wife, Danette, and Jean Anne Magness and husband, Greg; in-laws, Jody and Jim Guilliams; sister-in-law, Jayme Cincotta and husband, David; brothers-in-law: Brett Mason and wife, Catherine, and Davis Mason and wife, Rose; grandparents: Richard Alexander and wife, Nubia, Phyllis Nan Lasarsky and husband, Stan, Ray Orf and wife, Gayle, and Deloris Parnell and husband, Gene; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends: Dan and Andria Stolhand, and Corby and Renee Rust; The Unit family; and too many friends to count.
