Jay "J.D." Denver Williams

Jay Denver Williams peacefully departed this earth on June 22, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. Jay was born in Inola, OK on July 27, 1949 to Stella (Williams) Whitten and Jim Williams, both of which have preceded him in death. He spent most of his life “fixing” things. From lawnmowers to heavy equipment, he could make just about anything run the way it should. He also spent years diving for mussel shells, and worked as a carpet layer. When he wasn’t working on something, he was always up to win a game of dominoes, play cards, or wet a hook. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and camping. Jay was also preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Coatney, and a brother, Danny Williams. He is survived by his wife, Linda Williams; two sons, Don and Jason Williams and their families; three sisters, Patricia Wilson, FayeDean Carnes, Tammy Brown, and their families; one brother, Mark Chronister and his family. He is also survived by many friends that he considered family, all of whom will miss him dearly
