JC Rothers

JC Rothers, a dedicated bridge foreman who worked for Sherwood Construction 30 years, passed away on July 6, 2024. He was born on September 4, 1974, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

JC graduated from Vian High School in 1992 and went on to build a successful career in the construction industry. Known for his work ethic and leadership, he left a lasting impact on all those he worked with.

Outside of his professional life, JC was a man who cherished the simple things. He found joy in spending time with his family and friends. His love for his family was evident in the time he dedicated to coaching his son Kyle in sports and supporting all his children in their various endeavors and activities. 

In his leisure time, JC enjoyed fishing, hunting, telling tall tales, and most of all, relishing moments with his grandchildren. His warm personality and genuine nature endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

JC is survived by his loving spouse Jeanette Rothers; children Kyle Rothers, J.C. Rothers Jr. and Fawntana, Alia Rothers, Alissa Brown and husband Alex, and Abby Rothers; sister Lucinda Washington and husband Jon; Brother Aaron Nosiey and wife Shannon; Grandchildren, Emery Brown, Emelia Brown, Easton Brown, Ethan Brown, Baby E Brown, Noah Rothers, Sage Rothers, Chloe Rothers, Bowen Rolston, Braylon Rolston, Kylah Pavey, and Kara Pavey as well as numerous other extended family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy and Lucy McCoy; grandparents, Phil and Fern Rothers; Parents, Darrell Rothers and Gayle Rothers; brothers, Joe Rothers, Greg Rothers; Son Coty Pavey and nephew Shawn Rothers. 

JC Rothers will be remembered for the love he shared with those closest to him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have him touch their lives.
