Memorial service for Jennifer Granger will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2022 at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel. Jennifer passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, with her family by her side. She was 67.
Born in Claremore, Oklahoma on July 25, 1955, her parents were John and Marjorie (Gourd) Hipp. Jennifer attended school at Verdigris, and later Claremore. She received her Associates in Accounting through Rogers State. Later in life she spent time working as a caregiver, and helped many people over the years. She was a 19 Year breast cancer survivor.
Whether she was going to see friends, family or just hitting the road, Jennifer loved to travel. Jennifer had many hobbies, that included painting, crafting, gardening, and decorating. Furthermore, she had a passion for restoring antiques with a vision that was never ending and beautiful. She was a warrior, giver, nurturer and teacher. She had a heart of compassion and knew how to show unconditional love. Her family was most important to her and she loved spending time with them. But when she became a grandmother, a whole new world opened up and they were unstoppable. Nana J.
Jennifer will continue being missed and loved by her daughters Charity Chancey and wife Shawny and Amber Weeks-Walker and husband James; grandchildren Sabrina, Hailey and Marley and the sunshine great grandson Andre of Claremore; Life Partner Brian Young of Claremore; her sisters Ruth Medrano, of Louisiana, Beverly Jones and husband Willie, Debi Roach and husband Eddie, Vickie Mullikin and husband Rusty, Cindy Hipp, and Pamela Taylor and husband Tim all of Claremore and many nieces and nephews. Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bruce Arthur Granger, Jr., her brother Gerald Gourd and sister Sheryl Chambers.
