Service for Jenny Sue Holder will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 7, 2017 at Inola Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, July 6 from 1--8 p.m., with family receiving visitors from 6--8 p.m.. Jenny passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017. She was 67.
Born October 25, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee to James and Marie (Wyatt) Draffin, Jenny received her education there. She married Paul Burns and the couple moved to Inola. This union was blessed with two sons. Later, she married Raymond Holder, and together they raised three boys. Jenny was a hard worker, and instilled this in her boys. She worked for 25 years at Frank W. Murphy, as a lead manager. Jenny also sold Avon and was a representative for Home Interior Products. Her first priority was her family and she made sure they were well taken care of.
Her hobbies included crocheting and gardening. She enjoyed taking care of her home and it looked beautiful each and every change of season. Holidays were special at Jenny's home and she loved cooking her family’s favorite dishes. She also was known for helping those who were in need.
Those family members that survive include her three sons, Bryan Burns and wife Darla of Tulsa, Jeff Burns, and Brad Holder, both of Verdigris; her grandchildren Brandy Neasbitt and husband Richard, Melanie Roof and husband A.J., Brett Burns, Kaylee Burns, Matthew Burns and fiancée Katelyn Mattox, Michael Burns, Kyle Burns, and Hailey Holder; her great-grandchildren Jonathan, Arron, David, and Daniel Neasbitt, Bentley and Cameron Roof, and Aiden McCully; brother Kenneth "Bubba" Draffin and wife Bridgette of Memphis, TN, and sister Debra Berns and husband Richard of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Jenny was preceded in death by her father James Draffin, and mother Marie Marice, her husband Raymond Holder, and her sister Donna.
