Jerry Samuel Copp passed away peacefully in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 9th, 2020, He was 78 years old.
Jerry was born to Virgil "Buck" and Louise Copp on December 4th, 1942 in Claremore, Oklahoma at the Franklin hospital. He has been a long time Claremore and Rogers County Native. He attended Claremore Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1960.
Jerry was a simple man with simple taste. His passions were bucking bulls, bailing hay, picking pecans, relaxing at the lake and watching his grand kids in all their activities. He was a man of few words. Jerry was involved in many associations and clubs. He was an originating founder of the Oklahoma Residential Assisted Living Association and served as a board member since 1973. And a life time member of the American Bucking Bull Incorporated.
After a long days work he would choose the recliner and the western channel to enjoy a good John Wayne movie. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be deeply and forever missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Louise Copp and Brother Virgil Pat Copp.
He is survived by his wife Tracy Copp of 38 years; Sister, Thelma Joann Smith; Daughters, Sammy Leonard and husband Wade, Jacque Bronson and husband Phillip, Angie May and husband Cody. grandchildren; Guess Leonard and wife Chelsea, Cassidy Bronson, Cade Leonard, Cash Bronson, Brazen Bockius, Cylie Bronson, Canton May and Chapman May.
In Lieu of Flowers the family has asked to make donations in his name to the Rogers County Junior Premium Auction PO Box 1695 Claremore, Ok 74018. and the ABBI Junior. Program.
