Jessica Lynn Jones

Visitation for Jessica Lynn Jones will be on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 1:00pm-8:00pm at Chelsea Funeral Home. Family will greet friends at the funeral home from 6:00pm-8:00pm. 

Jessica passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the age of 35.

Jessica was born on August 20, 1987, in Claremore, OK to Denny and Denean (Collier) Grigg. Jessica grew up in the Chelsea area where she would attend Chelsea Schools.  There she enjoyed participating in sports and  agriculture along with many other school activities.  After graduating Jessica would marry and begin raising her family.

Jessica was also a hard worker.  She would eventually begin attending Rogers State University where she would study health care.  That helped her earn her medical aid license.  Over the next several years she would work as an aid, as well as working several other part time jobs.  She worked for places such as First Community Options, the Hard Rock Casino, and most recently at the Chelsea Schools working in the school cafeteria.

On July 21, 2020 Jessica would marry her long time friend, Preston Jones. They had many great times together. Other hobbies she enjoyed included cooking, sewing, arts and crafts, gardening, hunting, fishing, and even riding motorcycles. However, it was her children and family who brought her great joy and happiness.

She is survived by her husband, Preston Jones; children, Sarah Lynn Spain, Abigail Marie Hope Spain, and Lilian Emma Patience Spain; parents, Denny and Denean Grigg and brother, Dennis Lee Grigg.
