Funeral service for James Don "Jimmy" Moore will be 5 p.m., Fri., July 25, at Cedar Point Church with Pastor Rick Burke officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thurs. 1-8 p.m.
Jimmy passed away on Fri., July 18, 2014, in Claremore at the age of 38.
The son of Cheryl F. (Rainey) Moore was born Jan. 29, 1976, in Tulsa. Jimmy attended school in Coweta. On Sept. 25, 2004, he married Alyson Ry Adkins in Broken Arrow, and they made their home in Claremore. Jimmy worked at AZZ Galvanizing in Catoosa. He was a hard worker and provided for his family that he dearly loved. Jimmy loved spending time with his family, drag races, Dukes of Hazzard and anything to do with General Lee. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his daughters, Alexis and Kendall Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Alyson of the home; children: Colby and Carly Moore of Claremore, and Sarah and Cheyanne Moore of Coweta; mother, Cheryl F. Moore and husband, Rick Cure of Sand Springs; and siblings: Carla Gifford of Tulsa, Keith Cure and wife, Hannah of Tulsa, Robert Dannatte and wife, Leah of Claremore, and Katie Musselman of Tulsa.
