Joan Kellehan

Joan P Kellehan passed away peacefully at the age of 90, with her family surrounding her with love on November 23, 2023.  She was born near Claremore, OK on June 11, 1933, to Clinton Lee and Minnie Bel Phariss.  She was the youngest of three children.  
Joan was an active member of Midway Baptist Church for many years and loved her church family.  She loved traveling with her family and watching her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports.  
Joan graduated from Claremore High School in 1952.  She married Lynn A. Kellehan on April 5, 1952, and relocated to Texas where they raised 3 children.  They retired and returned to Claremore in 1987.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her older sisters Mary Jean and Patricia and her husband Lynn.  She is survived by her 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Her son Lynn C. Kellehan of Claremore, daughter, Laura Allen of Allen, Tx and daughter Lisa Lee Foster and her husband Scott of Claremore, Ok.; Grandchildren, Scott and Lacey Foster of Claremore and their sons, Brayden and Jackson; SSgt. Travis Allen, USMC and Gemma Allen, daughter Arya currently stationed in Okinawa Japan.  Tyler and Courtney Allen of Allen, Tx; Heather and Dustin Hash, son Weston of Claremore, Ok. Pallbearers are Scott Foster II, Travis Allen, Tyler Allen, Dustin Hash
