Joann Lee Stinnett

Funeral services for Joann Stinnett will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Chelsea First Christian Church. Visitation will take place at Chelsea Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with family receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Joann Stinnett, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, she was 92. She was born on January 21, 1932, in St. Edwards, Nebraska, to Olie Olsen and Agnes (Smith) Jensen. She would spend her early childhood in St. Edwards. At the age of 10, her family relocated to Susannville, CA. Joann met Jack Stinnett while living in California and they would marry on January 10, 1948, in Prineville, OR. In 1950, they moved to Chelsea, OK, to care for Jack's mother. They would make Chelsea their home. 

Throughout her life, JoAnn enjoyed collecting bottles and was a member of the National Bottle Museum in Ballston Spa, NY. In 1987, she met Jim Robb, with whom she shared many happy moments, including rides in their horse and buggy, dancing, gardening, and tending to their flower beds. They also shared a love for feeding birds. She loved spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren and attending their sporting events. 

Joann was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Stinnett Sr., sons Jack Stinnett Jr. and Gary Stinnett (and wife Trixie), sister Delores, granddaughter Crystal Stinnett, grandson Jimmie Kimble Stinnett, and one brother Larry Olsen. She is survived by her husband, Jim Robb, grandsons Jeff Stinnett (and wife Julayne) and their children, Jeremy Bryant (and wife Jamie), Kayelyn Bryant, Laura Jo Stinnett and Matt Stinnett and his daughter, Rachel Stinnett, and one brother, David Jensen and great-great grandchildren Taegan and Aislynn Bryant.
