Services for Joella Crouch will be 10:00a.m., Monday, February 22, 2016 at Friendly Foyil Baptist Church, Pastor Mike Clark will officiate. Burial will follow in Vinita at Fairview Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, February 21 from 1pm--6pm. Joella passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at her home. She was 58.
Joella was born on October 14, 1957 in Mountainair, New Mexico to Eugene and Delores (Baca) Panter. She was reared and educated in Foyil, graduating from Foyil High School with the class of 1975. Joella continued her education by attending Claremore Junior College, receiving her associates degree in accounting. Following her education she worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Graphic Electric and John Zinc. She also worked at the Foyil Cafe with her mother. Most recently she sold "Ella's Dips" at different trade shows. She loved this work because it brought many new and different people into her life.
On November 13, 1982 she married James Henry Crouch and the couple was blessed with a son, Joel. A people person, Joella was a magnet for friends. She loved having parties and looked for any reason to host a get together. Joella's nature was sincere and generous and many were recipients of her great friendship. Family was first and she never missed any of Joel's sporting events.
Those family members that survive include her husband Henry of their home and her son and daughter-in-law Joel and Kelly Crouch of Addison, Texas and many extended family members and friends. Joella was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Delores Panter.
