Memorial service for John Beiergrohslein will be 1 p.m., Thurs., July 19, at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Ray Crawford officiating. Services are under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory.
John died Sun., July 15, 2012, at Hillcrest Hospital South at the age of 72.
The son of John and Metta Catharina Beiergrohslein was born Dec. 15, 1939, in Brooklyn, NY. John enjoyed listening to music, dancing , bowling and participating in the Special Olympics. He left quite a life legacy in the spirit of living, his work ethic in that he was determined to earn his own way and the compassion and love he had for his family and extended family at the Foreman House. John moved to Oklahoma in 2006 from Long Island.
John is survived by his brother, Donald Beiergrohslein and wife, Darlene of Claremore, Two nephews; Erik and wife Erin and their children Grace, AveryKate and Luke of Ponca City, OK; Mike and Alycia and children Allie, Max and Zoee all of Eagle River AK, cousins from New York and Germany and many other extended friends and family.
