Johnna Dee Bryant

Funeral services for Johnna Dee Bryant, 53, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at River of Life Assembly of God Church in Inola.

Johnna was born on September 27, 1971, in Tulsa, OK, to John Robison and Donna Parrish. She spent her early years in Broken Arrow before moving to Delaware, OK, where she attended school until her junior year. She then completed her senior year at Dewey High School, graduating in 1989.

After high school, Johnna attended vo-tech while working in daycare and babysitting. In April 1992, she met Doug Bryant through family, and the two quickly connected, marrying in July of that same year. They made their home in Inola, where Johnna continued her work in childcare, studied nail finishing at beauty school, and co-owned Newbies Restaurant with Doug. She also worked as a janitor for Inola Public Schools.

Johnna enjoyed road trips, fishing, and actively participating in church, where she helped with youth programs and hosted dinners. She also opened her home to 13 foreign exchange students over the years, leaving a lasting impact on many lives.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Robison.

She is survived by her husband, Doug Bryant; daughter, Jordan Bryant; mother, Donna Parrish; sister, Geniva Sue; and many extended family members and friends.

Johnna will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and dedication to her family, community, and church.
