Funeral service for Jolene O'Neil Womack will be 11 a.m., Mon., March 7, at MMS-Payne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Thomas Buchanan officiating. Burial will follow at Sears Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sun. 1-6 p.m.
Jolene passed away Thurs., March 3, 2016, at Cornerstone Hospital, Broken Arrow, at the age of 54.
The daughter of John William Womack and Patsy Jean (Wolfinbarger) Pope was born March 16, 1961, in Wichita Falls, TX. She graduated from Snyder High School where she played clarinet in the band, was a member of the Color Guard, and a member of Future Homemakers of America. In the 80's, Jolene moved to Claremore and went to work for the Work Training Center for several years. She enjoyed helping and spending time with her clients. Jolene stayed busy doing many activities such as crocheting, cooking, making crafts, and growing flowers. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and the movie, "Gone with the Wind".
Jolene was preceded in death by her father, John Womack.
She is survived by her companion of 31 years, Jake Sears of the home; daughters: Rebecca Nutter and husband, Derek of Oologah, Jami Daniels and husband, Ronnie of Adair, and Jessica Hocutt and husband, Darrell of Central, Alaska; mother, Patsy Jean Pope of Claremore; grandmother, Ruby Pope of Claremore; siblings: Johnny Womack and companion, Christopher Holt of Claremore, Janell Furrh and husband, Carl of Joplin, MO, Calvin Mills and wife, Debra of Wichita Falls, TX, Bobby Pope and wife, Katrina of Sequoyah, Steven Pope of Oologah, William Womack and wife, Tracy of Santa Barbara, CA, and Pamela Stone and husband, Bill of Mineola, TX; grandchildren: Johnathon, Destiny, Stormi, and Chenoah, along with numerous other granchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other extended family members.
