Jon Andrew Billups

Jon Andrew (Andy) Billups, 58, of Claremore, Oklahoma, formerly of Ceredo, WV, passed away on September 24, 2024, following a long illness. Andy, the son of the late James T. and Patricia S. Billups, was born on February 7, 1966. He graduated from Ceredo-Kenova High School before attending Marshall University and graduating from Ashland Community and Technical College. Andy was a former Ceredo police officer who then worked in the oil and gas industry.

He is survived by his two daughters, Emily Kay and Jenna Marie Billups, and their mother, Lora Billups; brother, Paul A. Billups (Kathy); and sister, Leigh Johnson (Richard). He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Morgan Billups, Dr. Sarah Johnson, and Matthew Johnson; and dear friend Nancy Dolan.

Andy will be laid to rest at Ceredo Crescent Hill Cemetery in a private service. Contributions in Andy’s name can be made to the Ceredo Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 691, Ceredo, WV 25507
